In a 2012 FICO survey, insurance agencies considered an increase in costs associated with insurance fraud highly impactful to personal property, workers’ compensation and auto insurance. Sixty-seven percent of insurance firms anticipate an increase in personal property fraud, 65% anticipate the number of workers’ compensation frauds will increase, and 60% predict an increase in personal auto schemes.
